Grief Support Services is proud to announce two enlightening workshops aimed at professionals and parents to better support children affected by suicide. Hosted by renowned speaker Dr. Shelley Brunskill-Matson, these sessions promise invaluable insights and practical strategies drawn from over 20 years of experience in suicide postvention and support.


FOR PARENTS

Event Details: Supporting Children Affected by Suicide: Insights from Bereaved Children


  • Audience: Parents and caregivers of suicide-bereaved children.

  • Date and Time: Thursday, June 13th, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

  • Location: WBOP RTLB Service, 238 Chadwick Road (Corner Cameron and Chadwick Roads), Greerton.

Event Details: Mattering-reinforcing Care: A New Approach to Supporting Children Affected by Suicide.


  • Audience: Professionals including principals, teachers, counsellors, and other caring practitioners.

  • Date and Time: Friday, June 14th, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
