Please join us for our "Navigating Family Dynamics During Grief" support group on Wednesday 19 March from 4pm to 6pm at Elliotts Refreshment Lounge, 414 Cameron Road, Tauranga.
Grief shows up in families in many ways due to the sheer number of emotional needs such as irritability, numbness, denial, crying, sleeping, struggling to sleep, etc. This can rock a family’s centre of balance. While it may not be easy or tidy some understanding may help us appreciate family members and ourselves more. We will discuss acknowledging changing roles and dynamics, different grieving styles, different coping styles, and different emotions to help gain more understanding.
